Lucas/Schwering Architects was founded in May 1989 and currently consists of three registered architects, six graduate architects and one office administrator.

Our firm is fully committed to collaborating with clients in order to develop unique solutions to design challenges. We seek to understand and explore the full potential of every project. Lucas/Schwering Architects forms a close relationship with the client to develop a clear vision for the project at hand and work together towards efficient and economical solutions.

Our projects range in scale from a 1,600 square foot residential loft space to a 780 acre Equine Development and includes a combination of both new construction and additions/renovations for Educational, Equine, Commercial, Manufacturing, Medical and Residential. Through the experience, professionalism and special interests of its associates, Lucas/Schwering Architects is able to appropriately staff each project regardless of its scale or project type. We search for new opportunities through which the joint efforts of our clients, design consultants and individual staff members can have a positive impact on our built environment.

Lucas/Schwering Architects uses multiple tools to communicate the design intent to the client in all phases of the project including hand drawings, physical models and computer generated three dimensional modeling and renderings. We continually update our technology to better serve our clients and actively seek innovative tools to better communicate our design process.
