Woodford County High School Renovation and Addition
Versailles, Kentucky

This project consisted of the renovation and addition to the original building that was constructed in two phases: 1964 and 1982. The architect utilized their Òin-fillÓ concept to relocate the media center to the geographic center of the building. By the placement of new additions for stair wells, locker rooms, and classrooms a building was created that functions very effectively as a whole instead of as a series of ÒpartsÓ. The building improvements included mechanical, electrical, KETS data, interior finishes, roofing, and building envelope. The renovation also included the creation of specialty laboratories for business, science, art, and major renovations of the kitchen/cafeteria and classroom areas.
